Hi everyone
Here are three links I would recommend for teaching literature:
1) http://www.postcolonialweb.org/
I found this website easy to navigate and chock-full of links and resources with regards to postcolonial literature. I referred to it occasionally during my uni days for ideas. There is a multidisciplinary approach (politics, history, visual arts) towards understanding postcolonialism which will eliminate or reduce the googling teachers will have to do when preparing for a lesson. Though it is maintained by an academic, most of the information is easy to understand and digest and can be used to come up with new points when teaching a text. Though the students most likely study postcolonialism in secondary school literature, they might come across it indirectly in the form of Singapore literature like in Abraham's Promise or The Whale Rider by Witi Ihimaera which I had to teach.
2) http://www.bartleby.net
If ever your school is fussy about copyright..
3) http://quod.lib.umich.edu/m/med/lookup.html
If your Middle English is as lousy as mine. Very useful when I taught Shakespeare. To clarify, I only studied on Shakespeare text in uni and that was The Tempest so my Middle English not so good. Better to be sure than sorry.
