2. Poetry Speaks; https://www.poetryspeaks.com/

I find this website (although it doesn't offer lesson plans for teaching Literature) is a great introduction to poetry for students. This website provides an avenue for students to hear poets reading their works as well as to understand the difference between reading a poem silently and reading it aloud. This website can serve as a complement, a form of teaching resource to capture students' attention as well as to pique their interest in reading poetry aloud, submitting videos/audios and to join in poetry slam. It is a channel for them to build their confidence as well as get them interested in the act of producing, to the extent of even writing poems.

Once students find poetry fun, they are likely to want to learn the art of poetry and may even start writing their own poems. In the act of writing, they will become more conscious of stylistic devices as well as their purpose. This will then make them more aware when they read other poems/prepare for unseen poetry section.
