This site is the Literature and Language Arts section of a larger site that also includes sections on other humanities. It is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities in the USA. On the site, well-organized lesson plans are free for downloads as well as accompanying worksheets (in PDF format). Each 'lesson' contains introductory notes, guiding questions, detailed instructions for activities, as well as relevant links.
